Semi-permanent brows

Semi- permanent brows are a fantastic way to enhance your eyebrows. It can be carried out in 3 different techniques but all result in long lasting enhanced brows. All three techniques are different variations of implanting pigment into the the skin to create a long lasting make up effect.

This treatment is particularly beneficial to those who lack time to apply make up on a daily basis, those who may have allergies to make up, people with thinning eyebrows and people who are suffering hair loss due to a medical condition.

Semi-permanent make up typically lasts 12 - 24 months before significant fading is observed, however no guarantee can be given with regards to the length of time before fading occurs. Certain factors can increase the speed at which the pigment will fade which include - 

Prolonged exposure to sunlight including sunbeds

Aggressive facial treatments ( chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion).

Excessive facial sweating

Very oily skin types can find pigment fades quicker

 

There are various techniques with this treatment that can give a different finishing result.

Brow blading - natural hair stroke technique is created using a fine needle and carried out by executing a line motion which give the illusion of a single hair.

​

Shadow brow - this contemporary style brow is favourable with younger clientele as it gives the appearance of a fuller and more defined brow, similar to the look of HD Brows.

​

Combination brow - This technique uses both the brow blading and shadow brow to give the hair stroke appearance with an overlay of powder, this is by far the most popular brow.

 

All techniques give fantastic results and it is more of a personal choice along with the advise on which is believed to be more suited on an an individual client basis.
